The feel of an English country garden, hugged by a subtropical rainforest.
It’s easy to forget the daily bustle of life, wandering through the botanic gardens. The garden’s main feature, an arched stone bridge across the lake, is reminiscent of the bridge found at Stourhead in the UK, which was a venue used in the movie Pride & Prejudice (2005).
There are eight benches around the garden, designated as contemplative sites, allowing you to absorb the natural beauty of the scene before you.
With attractions like the wisteria pergolas, cherry tree walk, a thai sala, palm grove boardwalk and a multitude of gardens such as rose, japanese, magnolia, maple, camellia, hydrangea, azalea, bromeliad and also a native garden, it’s simply stunning and beautifully serene, whichever path you take at any time of year.
The Tamborine Mountain Botanic Gardens is definitely one of the Gold Coast’s hidden gems!
