The name doesn’t lie. This lookout, perched on the edge of the border between QLD and NSW, is dizzyingly spectacular.
The lookout itself towers over the Numinbah Nature Reserve valley and offers views of Mt Warning in the West, Byron Bay in the South and Tweed Heads in the East.
The short 300m rainforest walk to the lookout, contains ancient Antarctic beech trees that are gnarly relics from Gondwana land and are an attraction in their own right.
If you can, arrive 30 minutes before sunrise on a clear or slightly cloudy day and you’ll witness the best light show nature has to offer on the Gold Coast.
The Best of All Lookout is definitely one of the Gold Coast’s hidden gems!
