After my honeymoon, eagerly exploring every nook and cranny of the UK with my camera slung around my neck, I felt the urge to re-explore my hometown with as much energy. Having the Gold Coast, Australia as your hometown is quite special too. In fact, it’s one of Australia’s top tourist destinations for domestic and international visitors.
There are probably hundreds of places I haven’t visited since I was a child and plenty I have never been to at all. Shocking I know.
So armed with my love of landscape photography, I’m keen to find places that are off the beaten path and beyond Surfers Paradise. The Gold Coast is more than the theme parks and the typical beach holiday it is known for. I want to find the Gold Coast’s hidden gems, photograph them and share them with you here.
I hope you enjoy the ride as much as I do.
