A true hidden gem of Springbrook. It’s one of the few stroller and wheelchair friendly attractions, with a spectacular view just 100m from the car park.
Just seconds from the main road, you are surrounded by tall trees and plenty of ferns and leaves that all rustle in the wind. They muffle the sounds of traffic and your footsteps so well that even your own breath will seem to disrupt the serenity.
The wide bitumen path, with mossy green rocks either side, meanders around the beautiful trees and soon turns into a boardwalk, constructed to protect the fragile plant life below.
Loud rainforest birds sing as you take the short 100m path to the lookout. Even the local bush turkeys raking up the undergrowth, may hoot a greeting at you.
At the end of the boardwalk, look left for a stunning view of the Gold Coast skyline, perfectly framed by the rainforest trees.
This is definitely one of the Gold Coast’s hidden gems!
